Health Promotion in the Workplace

Catalog description

Prerequisites: 2.5 cumulative GPA. Course examines the foundations of worksite health promotion. The course will focus on several topics, including but not limited to the following: the rationale for worksite health programs and the economic impact of employee health on productivity and absenteeism, best practices vs evidence-based factors, the applicability of theory to worksite health promotion programs, planning and marketing strategies, ROI, policy, legal and ethical influences on developing worksite wellness programs
