Strategies for Health Education Instruction

Catalog description

Prerequisite: HED 210 or an equivalent Healthy Living course and HED 460/560 Administration of School Health Programs or equivalent. Designed to introduce the student to productive, creative, and innovative methods needed to implement health education instruction. Students will become familiar with organizing and presenting health content, health materials, health curricula, community resources, using technology, and communicating about a healthy lifestyle.
