Catalog description

Prerequisite: OSM 311. In this course you will gain the knowledge to succeed in the core competency of healthcare supply chain and operations management. As a clinician or an administrator, you will build your healthcare knowledge relative to how the healthcare supply chain is organized and managed. You will learn the lifecycle processes and organizational elements of supply chain organizations and their relation to care delivery systems. You will also build a technical foundation for how to manage healthcare operations, such as patient flow, quality improvement, and process management. You will finish this course with a comprehensive understanding of the structure, use and improvement of the healthcare supply chain and operations.
