Sound Design I

Catalog description

Prerequisites: FMA 121, FMA 151, FMA 171. This course will provide a broad and diverse introduction to sound design for film and multimedia productions. Throughout the course we will focus on how sound design conveys meaning and contributes to the storytelling process. We will study and practice the function of sound in relation with the visual, from animation, art installations, performance, web interfaces to motion graphics, gaming, video and film.
