Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce the student to the extensive range of equipment that is available for their use in subsequent courses and in the production of their film and video projects, including cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, sound and elements of art department most specifically FMA’s studio facilities. The purpose of this introduction is to create a familiarity with the wide variety of gear and facilities that are available to the FMA student in a way that makes its usage clear and less intimidating to the beginning filmmaker. This course will be broken down into 4 distinct modules covering camera, lighting and grip, sound and art department.
