Catalog description

Prerequisite: FIN 351. This course provides students with an understanding of entrepreneurial finance and the life cycle of new venture firms. Topics include organizing the new venture, writing the business plan, evaluating performance, firm valuation, venture capital and other financing sources, managing cash flow, forecasting future funding needs, creating value, and harvesting the venture investment through exit strategies.
