Prerequisite: FIN 353. Advanced valuation and analysis of equity securities with real-world case applications. The course focuses on the critical analysis of advanced equity asset pricing models by identifying and analyzing market anomalies and recent developments in equity analysis. The course incorporates an analysis of advanced equity portfolio management techniques, equity portfolio performance measurement, and equity portfolio performance attribution analysis. The course will also cover topics on institutional investors such as hedge funds and mutual funds, and will include coverage of international investing.
