Strength and Conditioning Lab

Catalog description

Prerequisites: EXS 322, EXS 325, EXS 326. Corequisites: EXS 483/EXS 583. Laboratory/practical component of EXS strength and conditioning coursework. Provides first-hand experience with strength and conditioning testing and programming. Students will learn to select, administer, and interpret exercise tests across a variety of sports. Training programs for developing strength, agility, speed, power, and aerobic endurance will also be covered. This course is designed to prepare students for the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist exam.
