Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Must be enrolled as a student in the College of Education, have completed all prerequisite and/or corequisite courses, have a cumulative GPA of 3.00. Corequisite: EST 451. Prior application and approval of the Office of Field Services. University-supervised student teaching in special education setting; Campus-based course that focuses on reflecting on candidates’ practice in the field. All assignments in this course are completed in the context of a candidate’s field placement. Required for licensure as an Intervention Specialist. Students must have the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background check on file with the college advising office.
