Catalog description

Prerequisites: ESE 421. Must be admitted to the college as a declared major or minor and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher to be eligible for this course. The focus of this course is on the development and utilization of appropriate assessment-based curriculum and instruction for individuals with mild/moderate educational needs. Participants in this course will develop an understanding of the relationships among assessment issues, learning environments and instructional practices employed in learning environments for students with disabilities. Clinical or field experience required.
