Catalog description

Prerequisite: Students must have a GPA of 2.50 or higher. Corequisite: ESE 400. This course provides the foundations of the theory and techniques of classroom management and individualized behavior intervention. This course covers responsibility of intervention specialists to participate in functional behavior assessment and author behavior intervention plans. This course focuses on methods of teaching affective/social skills and positive behavior support techniques.
