Pre-requisite: EE: EEC 314 & EEC 315; CE: EEC 313 & EEC 316; CS: EEC 310. Introduction to a complete PLC based hardware and software platform for industrial automation, including modern PLC configurations, basic programing using ladder logic, various functions of data acquisition and visual display, with an emphasis on Human Machine Interface capable of interacting with process variables in real time.
