The Inquisitive Mind of the Learner

Catalog description

This course is designed for inquiry into the inquisitive mind of the learner. It provides students with an understanding of the theories and research of human development and learning, and practices based on these theories and research studies. Topics addressed include psychomotor development, language development, cognitive development, individual differences, learning theories, creativity, personality, social development, inclusion, motivation, measurement and evaluation. The course is intended to facilitate reflection on how learning occurs inside and outside educational settings.
