Health Communication Interventions

Catalog description

Prerequisites: COM 349 or COM 362 or instructor permission. Students will apply their knowledge of health communication, messages design, and content production to develop a health communication intervention for an at-risk population. Students will produce print, audio, and/or interactive digital media materials for implementation across different communication channels (e.g., interpersonal, organizational, social media, mass media). This is a capstone course that fulfills the following skills under the CSU General Education requirements: writing, critical thinking, information literacy, and oral communication.
