Catalog description

Prerequisites: COM 102 and COM 225, or consent of instructor. This course is an introduction to the activities that take place in preparation for studio news interviewing. We will explore the various aspects of bringing news to life in a studio setting, from identifying compelling stories to delivering them with clarity and authority. This course may be taken a second time, but only 3 credits may be used for major or minor requirements. If taken a second time, students will work on more advanced projects.
