Catalog description
Corequisite: CMG 242. This course introduces students to the properties and behavior of certain construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, and soil). Students will assess mechanical properties using test methods in the lab or in the field in accordance with ASTM and/or ODOT standards. The student then learns how to interpret data to select/reject materials.
