Senior Design II

Catalog description

Prerequisites: CIS 493. A capstone course, and the second of two senior design courses, focuses on integrating, synthesizing, and applying knowledge and skills already gained across the computer science curriculum to a practical end. Working in small groups led by a faculty advisor and, possibly, an industry advisor, students will complete the project proposed in CIS 493 and develop the software product as specified. Throughout this process, students will develop and demonstrate abilities in critical/logical thinking, group work, quantitative literacy, and writing.
