Catalog description

Pre-requisite: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement; CIS 260 and ENG 102/ESC 102. This course provides students with an introduction to Computer Science technical writing, complex graphics and presentations with Latex, a de-facto standard in Computer Science and other Sciences. The course not only offers techniques for writing various technical documents (from single page letters, resume, project readme files, to large comprehensive technical reports or research papers), but also covers the ethics principles and ethical writing. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to build their own professional technical report using Latex.
