Prerequisites: A score below the required level on the General Chemistry Placement Exam. This course provides an overview of essential chemistry concepts and skills to prepare students for the two-semester General Chemistry sequence. It is also suitable for non-chemistry majors seeking a basic introduction to chemistry. Recommended for students without high school chemistry who plan to take CHM 261 or CHM 251, or for those needing additional preparation before enrolling in CHM 261 or CHM 251.
