Prerequisites: CHE 480 Fundamentals of PLC Programming. Co-requisites: Permission of the instructor. This mini semester course builds upon the fundamentals of PLC programming techniques taught in CHE 480 by providing alternative programming approaches involving sequential functional blocks and structured text. HMI programming is also included to provide students experience in creating operational interfaces and visualizing an industrial unit from an operator’s perspective.
