Prerequisite or co-requisite: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement, CHE 302, CHE 306, and CHE 307. Basic principles of chemical reaction engineering. Basic (Ideal) reactor description modeling, and design. Analysis of kinetic data. Isothermal and non-isothermal reactor design. Principles of catalysis. Reaction engineering principles in modern technologies.
