Catalog description

Prerequisite(s): Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement courses each with a grade of ‘C’ or better; CHE 300; ESC 350; ESC 120. Co-requisites: CHE 302 and CHE 306, or permission of the instructor. Mathematical formulation of Engineering problems and introduction to Numerical Analysis. Review of software applications for non-linear and iterative calculations in Engineering. Introduction to Process Simulators, Preliminary Statistical concepts on experimental design, data collection, and analysis of experimental data. Introduction to preparation and presentation of technical reports.
