Pre-requisites: MTH 284 or equivalent, MCE 315, BME 300. Introduces biological signals, their origin, biomedical signal processing, spectral analysis, Fourier transform; short-time Fourier transform, wavelet transform; autoregressive models, clustering and classification. Overview of instrumentation systems used in clinical medicine and biomedical research.
