Catalog description

Pre-reqs: Completion of the Core Curriculum Research & Professional Writing requirement, ENG 101, BME 307 or permission from instructor. This is a Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) course. This is a required core course for the BS in Biomedical Engineering Program. This course will prepare students to interact with clinicians and end users of medical devices to identify unmet needs, including appropriate methods to observe, interview, and research potential needs. Students will have opportunities to visit clinical facilities.
