Prerequisites: ESC 250 or MTH 286 (Differential Equations); Pre- or Co-requisite: BME 300 (Introduction to Biomedical Engineering), ESC 152 (Matlab). Explores structure-function relationships and regulation across the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous (including vision and auditory), and digestive systems. Lectures emphasize physiological mechanisms and integrated organ-system function, while experiments and computational labs apply biomedical engineering tools to model and interpret system behavior.
