Prerequisite: ART 211. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to illustration, the area of commercial art most closely related to fine art. The objective for this class is for students to understand the history and medium of commercial image-making and the context in which it has been practiced. Students will also to experience, through studio assignments, the process of creating various forms of illustration.
