Catalog description

This course is primarily a cultural survey of the prehistoric Native American groups who inhabited the Ohio Valley as seen through the archaeological and historical record, from the end of the last Ice Age until their contact with the first Europeans. The practical goal of this course is to understand and appreciate the lengthy record of Native American occupation and heritage in the state of Ohio as viewed through the archaeological record.
