Catalog description
This interdisciplinary course explores the science behind athletic performance and human movement. Students investigate how physics, physiology, nutrition, psychology, and data analysis contribute to success in sports and fitness. Topics include motion and energy in movement, biomechanics, sports nutrition, reaction time, performance statistics, and the mental aspects of competition. Designed for non-science majors, the course emphasizes practical understanding and real-world applications.
