Catalog description

This course teaches the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence (AI), including foundational and intermediate prompt engineering methods for different outputs, such as business, technical writing, education, and everyday life contexts. In this course, students will learn how to leverage effective prompt engineering in many contexts while adhering to their own code of ethics for writing with AI. They will also practice effective methods of editing the writing outputs produced by AI to ensure effective written communication in multiple academic and professional disciplines.
