Catalog description

This capstone course prepares dental hygiene students for a successful transition from student to entry-level practitioner with a primary emphasis on National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE) preparation. Content is intentionally aligned with national board content areas and incorporates case-based learning, test-taking strategies, licensure readiness, jurisprudence, and professional workforce preparation. The course also provides flexibility to incorporate instructional content addressing legislative and regulatory changes impacting the practice of dental hygiene.
