Students develop working knowledge and capacity for critical analysis of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM IVTR) and psychiatric assessment system. Using case studies relevant to their vocational goals, attention is given to diagnostic and treatment issues related to the most common psychiatric conditions.
