Catalog description

This practicum is designed for doctoral students in Christian counseling to develop clinical competencies in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy (SIP). Grounded in both evidence-based practices and Christian theological perspectives, the course provides supervised experience in the integration of spirituality and psychotherapy in clinical settings. Students will engage in direct client work, case conceptualization, and treatment planning through the lens of SIP, with particular attention to the ethical and culturally sensitive application of spiritual resources in therapy.
