Catalog description

As some of the most important foundational documents of the Christian tradition, Paul’s letters have inspired spiritual leaders, theologians, and believers all over the world. In this course, students will read the undisputed Pauline epistles alongside the works of historians, scholars of religion, and theologians to examine the contexts within which Paul wrote, his first audiences received, and subsequent generations have interpreted these complex and often challenging texts.
