Catalog description

This course explores the theory and practice of established models of leadership in light of the particular contexts of Muslim communities in North America. Students complete preparatory readings and critical analyses of major leadership frameworks, then examine a variety of real-world leadership scenarios through intensive in-person and online discussion. The course equips students to evaluate competing leadership philosophies, assess their suitability across diverse cultural and institutional contexts, and communicate persuasive leadership strategies grounded in both scholarly frameworks and Islamic values.
