Catalog description

The colloquium is a space designed to create community and build support networks among Ph.D./MA students by enhancing opportunities around peer-to-peer mentoring, advising panels, and academic writing. This colloquium is also designed as a space to hold informal conversations, at the end of every month in a meeting we are calling, “Spilling the Tea,” students will be invited to share stories of their academic journeys, celebrate milestones, and have open and honest conversations on navigating academia, the job market, dissertation writing, writing and publishing, and sharing tips around self-care and our mental and spiritual health.
