Catalog description

This course ensures students know the basics of establishing healthy trees in the urban environment. After covering tree anatomy and physiology we discuss sourcing, planting, and maintenance. We introduce electrical hazard awareness and some of the knots used in tree care. Designed to be combined with HOR-260 to prepare students for the International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist exam.
