English language learners are introduced to the basic language necessary to function in day-to-day American society; language functions are taught in the contexts of work, family and community. Aligns with the Oregon Adult English Language Proficiency Standards, Level 1. This course introduces the same skills as ESOL-015 , but provides fewer hours toward developing mastery. Required: Student Petition.
