Beginning ESOL

Catalog description

English language learners speak and listen to simple words, phrases, questions, statements and commands using common English vocabulary in simple, highly-structured tasks. Aligns with the Oregon Adult English Language Proficiency Standards, Level 1 and the Oregon Adult College and Career Readiness Standards Reading Foundational Skills. This course introduces the same skills as ESOL-012 , but provides fewer hours toward developing mastery. Required: Student Petition.
