Practicum III

Catalog description

Focuses on field experiences for early childhood education students in a variety of educational settings, serving children from birth through kindergarten. This course allows students to deepen and apply their knowledge, methods, and skills gained from early childhood education and family studies courses as well as the previous terms of practicum and CWE. The course covers continuing observation/assessment, assisting the mentor teacher in implementing an integrated approach to curriculum with attention paid to working with diverse children and their families. This course contains a required accreditation key assessment and cannot be waived or transferred in from another institution. Required: Student Petition.
