Catalog description

Prerequisite/Corequisite: As required by the college. This course presents fundamental applications in Unix/Linux. Included in this course are skills development for OS installation and setup, recompile techniques, system configuration settings, file/folder structures and types, run levels, basic network applications and scripting. Additionally, the course presents security features from an administrative and user consideration. This course is designed to prepare students to take the CompTIA Linux+ exam.
