Prerequisite: BIO103 with a grade of "C" or better This course includes historical perspectives, cell structure and function, microbial genetics, infectious diseases, immunology, distribution, physiology, culture, identification, classification, and control of microorganisms. The laboratory experience includes micro-techniques, distribution, culture, identification, and control. Two 120-minute laboratories are required. Code B
