Catalog description
Every business speaks a language-and accounting is where that language begins. In this course, students learn how financial data becomes the backbone of strategy, insight, and action. From recording real-world transactions to preparing key financial statements, students will see how numbers are more than numbers-they are tools for influence, forecasting, and smart decision-making. This course connects financial and strategic accounting in a way that feels relevant, modern, and alive. Students will explore how financial information supports internal analysis, operational planning, and ethical thinking. Along the way, we introduce the emerging role of AI and technology in transforming how data is interpreted and used to drive results. Whether you're headed into finance, management, entrepreneurship, or tech-driven accounting, this course lays the foundation for how great decisions are made.
