Surgical and Clinical Skills

Catalog description

This course will focus on teaching PA students surgical and clinical skills which are necessary for PA practice. It will include hands-on instruction including but not limited to procedural skills such as suturing, sterile technique, wound care, regional nerve block, local anesthesia, ultrasound technique, knee injections, scrubbing, gowning and gloving techniques, IV placement, venipuncture and more.
