Catalog description
The purpose of this course is to apply advanced leadership and management knowledge and skills within complex healthcare systems. Through the lens of complex adaptive systems, students will apply concepts, theories, and models related to leading and transforming organizational culture that is grounded in holistic and person-centered care principles. Within this framework, advanced skills in communication and collaboration, leading and managing human capital, decision-making, leading change within complex adaptive systems that lead to a healthy, safe, and quality work environment are applied.
