PA Professional Practice Seminar II

Catalog description

This is the second of a 6-part seminar series that begins in the didactic year and continues through the clinical year. This course will explore ethics and ethical practice to include issues related to social determinants of health with respect to cultural competency, race/ethnicity, religious beliefs/spirituality, gender identity, sexual orientation, and individuals with disabilities, and special healthcare needs. Discussions will also include topics of death, dying and loss, and palliative and end of life care.
