Catalog description

This course is designed to help the PA student develop the necessary skills, knowledge and sensitivity in order to intervene effectively for a variety of psychiatric, emotional, and social concerns that are presented by patients in healthcare settings. Students will gain skills in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of patients with a variety of behavioral, psychosocial and psychiatric conditions.
