Catalog description

This course prepares future nurse educators to effectively teach and evaluate core nursing concepts such as physical assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology across clinical, didactic, and online learning environments. Emphasis is placed on integrating best practices in instructional design, addressing the needs of diverse learners, and applying inclusive strategies across cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Students will explore various teaching and learning methods, including the use of educational technologies and simulation, and will design coursework that supports student learning through active, contextual, and evidence-based approaches.
