Advanced Nursing Leadership Concluding Graduate Experience

Catalog description

This course involves a practicum experience designed to support the integration of knowledge and application of advanced nursing competencies gained throughout the curriculum. In collaboration with a mentor and interprofessional colleagues, the learner engages in leadership and coordination of high quality, culturally congruent, person-centered care in a practicum setting. Throughout the course and practicum experience, learning centers on evidence-based efforts to improve the health outcomes of patient populations, assure organizational efficiency, and advance health equity. Reflection on professional goals and opportunities for ongoing development of competencies is included.
