The focus of this course is on developing healthcare financial knowledge and skills needed at the nurse manager and nurse executive levels. Areas of content include budget development and management, revenue and reimbursement, cost containment, and marketing. The emphasis is on application of these concepts guided by holistic care principles within a person-centered care context in individual practice settings.
