Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Supplemental Practicum

Catalog description

This course provides Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) students with a supplementary practicum experience to fulfill additional practicum hour requirements. Under the guidance of clinical preceptors, students will refine their advanced practice skills, enhance clinical decision-making, and gain hands-on experience in diverse healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on applying evidence-based practice and demonstrating increasing autonomy in patient care. This course is graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis.
